At the start of April Boxing Futures submitted a funding application to LNER’s Customer and Community Investment Fund (CCIF). If we’re successful, the charity will be able to launch Chatter Box, a programme specifically designed for young people within the city of Peterborough.
Chatter Box is a unique project that connects socially isolated young people (both male and female) through regular (non-contact) boxing training and social and emotional learning through group discussion, activities and workshops.
As a peer led ‘go to’ service, we’ve designed Chatter Box to tackle the issues causing loneliness and isolation, through increasing social connectedness. We would achieve this not only through sport, but also peer led discussions and social activities.VOTE NOW
