The Role

Based in Peterborough, Cambridge, & Rutland UK

£25,000 – £27,000 per annum

Fixed term contract, 12 months, 37.5 hours per week

If you have youthwork experience, and aptitude as a sports coach, this is an excellent opportunity to take on a challenging, yet highly rewarding role delivering our blend of physical and therapeutic programmes.

Our Vision

Boxing Futures are a national charity that believes in the potential of every young person. We change lives through non-contact boxing training, coupled with social and emotional learning programmes, and outreach into our local communities to engage positively with young people, with a focus on physical and mental well-being.

You Will Be

We are looking for a confident Coach to deliver our programmes in schools, colleges and in the community.

We Offer

Your responsibilities

  • Planning, designing and developing programmes tailored specifically to the participants needs
  • Supporting young people to develop new skills, promoting positive physical and mental wellbeing
  • Collecting relevant data to support the monitoring of the participants’ attendance and progress on each programme
  • Delivery of well-planned and engaging physical and therapeutic sessions that challenge our service users
  • Safeguarding the welfare of our service users

You will be suited to this role if you have:

  • Excellent coaching credentials
  • Passion for youth work and supporting improved physical and mental health for young people
  • A successful background in delivering physical/therapeutic programmes for young people
  • Working knowledge of Safeguarding
