Where It All Began

Anthony York and Andy Burley founded Boxing Futures in 2013. With a combined experience of more than 30 years within the criminal justice system, working with young adult offenders and substance misuse, they knew more could be done to prevent young people from engaging in anti-social and criminal behaviour.

They were convinced that the answer lay in improving physical health and mental wellbeing. Boxing Futures has since grown beyond that original vision and we now help a much wider range of young people from all backgrounds.

Our vision is a society where young people live full, happy and healthy lives.

MEET THE TEAM

We work with groups and individuals, offering non-contact boxing and therapeutic talk sessions to develop the young people’s physical and mental health and wellbeing. We love seeing young people grow and flourish on our programmes, and are determined to reach even more young people.
