12 weeks that really make a difference
16-12 young people train together once or twice a week for an hour. Some lack confidence to work in a group, so coaches and volunteers can offer additional 1:1 support where needed.
Young people can obtain their bronze Boxercise award. This means learning a basic shot combination, fundamental footwork and attending training with a positive attitude and responsiveness to the coach’s instructions.
The programme is 100% inclusive of different levels of fitness and we offer a range of alternatives to drills and exercises so that we can encompass all needs.

This rounded-programme of activity and support delivers real change
We teach young people to help, motivate and encourage each other through exercise and teamwork.
Like all of our programmes, we use Boxercise as a non-contact way to benefit from boxing.
Every participant follows clear guidelines to arrive on time, wear appropriate clothing and greet and thank their coach.
Experience gained on the programme can be added to individuals’ CV as evidence of teamwork, participation and perseverance.
After the programme participants can continue training with their coach in six weeks of evening classes.
All participants get the chance to work towards a Boxercise award, learning how to progress towards a goal and gaining a sense of accomplishment.
